Special Salad

This salad is a favorite of my family and friends.  I get requests for this salad every time I am asked to bring a dish to an event.  I thought I would share this easy recipe with you.  The key to great salad is be sure that your lettuce is washed and dried thoroughly.  Use fresh ingredients from your local farmer’s market.  This is a great first course or a meal in itself when you add protein. 1 container Organic Spring Mix
1 head Iceberg Lettuce (chopped)
15 Grape Tomatoes (slice in half)
1 English Cucumber (peel some of skin off) sliced
1 can Giant Black Olives
1 can Chic Peas
25 Mozzarella Balls
Shredded Cheddar
Your favorite dressing on the side


Large salad bowl

Wash lettuce thoroughly and dry

Toss with other ingredients and top with shredded cheddar

Note:  Use your favorite salad ingredients and experiment with different cheeses.  Shred your own cheese for fresher result.
